Iron Fix Instructions

Step1Using a cotton setting , iron directly onto silk for 2-3 minutes. This will heat fix the dyes.
Step2
Soak silk in a warm bowl of water with a small amount of washing up liquid for 5 mins. This will dissolve the gutta resist and any salt used, leaving the fabric soft.
Step3
Rinse silk with cold water.
Step4
Towel dry to take out excess water from silk.
Step5
Iron damp directly onto the silk with a cotton setting.
Step6
Silk should feel soft and smooth, outlines will look  whiter. The silk is now ready to be framed, made into a hanging or a cushion!
